I really liked that despite the fact that the main character will appear less often in some episodes, he will still remain the main character. You start looking for him, and you’re like: where’s Carmy? and then he appears later. And, most importantly, his absence is explained by his actual decision to walk away from the business, which had been contemplated and felt by the viewer all along. Very cool. His brother’s death, his suicide, also runs like a subtle thread through all the seasons, and in the end, even without always fully understanding what exactly had been weighing on you the whole time, you breathe out together with the characters and the timer stops.
