- First you need to exhale, have some tea, exhale again and be glad that your energy lasted long enough. If you still ended up in trading and have lasted this long – congratulations! You handled it better than the current me! The current me just isn’t getting anywhere :(You have survived the first 1-3 “ramp‑up” months. That’s good! And now – to, as the British say, “meat and potatoes”. The main course, that is.In normal circumstances – as soon as the thought arises and stays in your head longer than one tea break.Alas, around us it’s been about eight years now… not very normal conditions.Show 18+ contentI don't know your situation, but I can speak for myself.I consider myself unsinkable at work.I think quitting NOW because of something you could have quit over ten years ago is foolish. You have to endure.I realize that things probably won't get any better anywhere. And that things will only get worse from here.But.I went to resign (not just resign, but to notify the bosses in a single day that I've had enough, and go on a walkout the same day) last year only after the beloved team, for reasons unknown to me, began trying to stitch a criminal case against me from a distance. This is a VERY valid reason to run without looking back.Better a line in the employment record than a sentence in a personal file.Especially if the management is a herd of pent‑up idiots lacking curiosity and imagination, and they made it clear that this is not their problem. The second reason to run without looking back.Health.While the body is young, it seems enough to simply apply more effort.Again, speaking for myself.I never complained about my health strength, I worked as hard as I could.Until one fine day... damn! pain, ambulance, hospital, intensive care, death on the operating table. And that's it, now many professional specialties, some hobbies, and even simple worldly joys are closed to me forever.Health. Must. Preserve. NOW.Later it will be too late.Third.A very important point. You need to ask yourself the question “Can I afford to quit?”If you have even a slight reserve to fall back on while you look for a new job, great!Otherwise – you should think carefully about what alternatives you have.Transfer to another project, for example.Or some funny boss’s slip‑up stipulated in the employment contract but overlooked by your boss.Or at least hold out until mid‑spring. Then, in case of an especially big shortage, you could... I don’t know... simply quietly eat someone’s greenhouses so you don’t die of hunger. And overall, everyday matters will have a wider field for maneuver. In general, you should read the employment contract carefully. If you have one.(if not – I see the goal, I see no obstacles. Still no paper = no obligations.Usually.In Belarus, at least mostly, that's the case)And most importantly: remind yourself that you have gotten quite far. That achieving this far is not something everyone manages.Yes, I’ve already advised this.Hope this sufficiently emphasizes the importance of this idea.Like this post, increate it rating
- If you have something to live for for 2-3 months, then right now. If it’s unbearable to the point that you can’t eat or sleep, then right now (ask for help from close ones).Like this post, increate it rating
