Dinka -- one of the few Nilotic peoples who have so far retained a primitive communal structure. The population of the Dinka people is about 4 million people. 

The Dinka are known as the bearers of almost the darkest color of skin on Earth, as well as being one of the tallest peoples of Africa and the world. Practically all Dinka are very tall and slender. The average height of men is 185-190 cm, and of women 175-180.

The Dinka live in the central South Sudan, in the White Nile valley. Their main occupation — cattle herding. Cows and buffaloes are considered by them a symbol of wealth and status. Children from a young age learn to take care of the livestock.

Girls before marriage often do not wear clothing, as nudity among the Dinka is considered a symbol of innocence, and they are satisfied with only numerous bead ornaments.
