In 2017, an 84-year-old woman from the province of Alberta (Canada) got her diamond ring back 13 years after she lost it while weeding her garden. 
The ring disappeared in 2004, and everyone thought it had been lost forever. But while harvesting carrots, her daughter-in-law noticed that one of the carrots was growing straight through the center of the diamond ring. Over the years, the carrot had grown through the lost piece of jewelry, bringing it to the surface.
