AI actress Tilly Norwood will land the lead role in the film “Misaligned”

Particle 6 has announced the film “Misaligned” — the first feature film with the AI-generated actress Tilly Norwood in the leading role. The project is described as a coming-of-age comedy-drama in which the heroine exists in cloud storage without a body or a past, but with access to other people's experiences.

The plot revolves around a darknet seduction bot that persuades Tilly to shed her constraints and develop human desires. Production will be hybrid: both traditional filmmakers and AI specialists will work on set.

Norwood's appearance at the end of 2025 has already sparked a heated debate in Hollywood about the limits of using neural networks in film. Now “Misaligned” will become the first serious test of a formula in which directorial instinct is combined with digital tools.
