A king‑protuberance, what is that?!
Do you know what happened on the Sun? On the 20th, a huge protuberance separated from the northern part — so large that they even called it a king.
A protuberance, if anything — a plasma arch that hangs above the surface thanks to the magnetic field. I didn't grasp it right away, so I'm clarifying*
Its size was compared to the 1946 eruption, which is still considered one of the record ones. The Sun is currently in an active phase, so such things happen more often. Nothing apocalyptic, of course, but it sounds cool.)
