In Russia, demand for rubber boots has increased tenfold due to an early thaw

The sudden warm spell during the March holidays sparked a frenzy for waterproof footwear. Compared with early spring 2025, Russians' interest in rubber boots has risen by almost ten times. 

📌Sales are growing most actively in the online segment — certain models are ordered 20% more often than last season. Russians began bulk‑purchasing “puddle‑walkers” as early as mid‑February, and by March demand hit peak levels. 

📣According to SHOT analysts, during the thaw season stores earn about 250,000 rubles per day from selling such footwear. Moreover, buyers prefer high boots over galoshes.
