[моё] Scammers in the Telegram wallet
I decided to talk about what I ran into for the first time yesterday (yes, I’m aware scammers never sleep, but still).
I sell bitcoin as usual, an ordinary request comes in, I accept it, and wait for payment.

Then, through the bot, the buyer sends a message — a payment screenshot — and starts messaging that they’ve sent it.
A minute later, they allegedly file a complaint against me saying I’m a scammer, and the wallet support supposedly contacts me — unfortunately, I didn’t manage to take a screenshot, but the word “official” was misspelled there, and it came from a premium account (which was already a red flag).
Well, I still fell for it and took part in the dialogue a bit; in the end, I blocked them, and later that account was deleted.

Then they started trying to log in everywhere using my phone number — in VK, in about 8 banks (even ones I don’t have), in Telegram, trying to delete Telegram ))) — they repeated these procedures about 5 times, so I got a flood of SMS and calls)
I panicked a little, it had been a long time since anything like that happened. Still, the services’ information security is top-notch, so they didn’t manage to do anything.
So if someone uses the wallet:
- nothing has changed, Telegram representatives do not write to you; all communication / notifications, etc. happen through official bots — Wallet, Telegram - service notifications (screens below) and the Wallet app.

- to confirm a payment, the buyer must first transfer the funds, then send the confirmation document (receipt, screenshot) in the Wallet app; only after that will you be able to confirm sending your currency to the buyer in the wallet, BUT confirm only after you check that the payment has really been received into the account, then you can confirm through the Wallet app.
So be careful and vigilant, the main thing is not to panic ). I decided to warn you just in case, in case anyone uses it.
And I strongly recommend that if you do this, you set up a cloud password.
