    "Very useful" information about coins

Today I was writing the financial literacy olympiad (an elective that I took five times during the whole school year) and to prepare, I read about many things, but remembered little.  And now I will tell what I remembered, but it didn’t come in handy (no, I didn’t memorize it for nothing‽).

The obverse (eagle) of the coin is called the obverse. The reverse side of the coin (tails) is called the reverse. The side part‑rim.

Coins with denominations of 1,2,5 kopecks are made of steel and coated with copper. Rim‑smooth. On the obverse is depicted the coat of arms of the Republic of Belarus, the inscription "Belarus", the year of issue "2009". On the reverse the denomination figure is written, an ornament, the inscription "kapeyek", "kapeyka".

Coins with denominations of 10,20,50 kopecks are made of steel, coated with copper and brass. Rim‑reeded with segments. On the obverse is depicted the coat of arms of the Republic of Belarus, the inscription "Belarus", the year of issue "2009". On the reverse the denomination figure is written, an ornament, the inscription "kapeyek".

Coin – 1 ruble. Made of steel, coated with copper and nickel. Rim‑reeded. The obverse is the same as on the previously mentioned coins. The reverse – denomination figure, ornament, inscription "ruble".

Coin – 2 rubles. Made of steel, the middle is coated with copper and nickel, the sides are coated with copper and brass. Rim‑smooth with the inscription "Belarus". On the obverse is depicted the coat of arms, an ornament, the inscription "Belarus" and "2009". On the reverse the denomination figure, ornament, inscription "rubli".

Also, besides regular coins there are commemorative coins. They are issued in honor of some event. They are more beautiful and refer to the event. They can be used as regular coins, but it is not profitable, because their real value often exceeds the nominal value.

There are also investment coins. They are most often made of gold. Such coins can be bought and sold. The buyer pays not only for the precious metal from which the coin  is made, but also for the jewelry work. Therefore the coin will cost more than a gold bar of the same weight.

    Coins remain payable if:
there are slight wear, scratches, minor darkening, spots, no shine.
There is a distortion of the original shape (the coin is slightly flattened), a minor distortion of the inscription or image.
     There are manufacturing defects.

Coins with other damages are not accepted (through hole, split into two halves).

    Interesting, thank you.
Isn't it hard on the brain to switch all the time from Russian to Belarusian and back?
A familiar teenager transferred to a Russian school and never got out of the 'threes' in Russian.

We also studied all this in childhood) But not for Olympiads, but to go through the Soviet coins accumulated by grandma and grandpa in an incredible quantity and try to find those very rare coins that are worth a lot of money. We used a magnet to sort them, looked at the dates of issue, and checked if there are edges on the rim. Our hands were black, we didn't find anything valuable and all the coins went to a children's store. More convenient than leaves from trees)

    ‽ - how?
And in general, as a person who lived on the border with Belarus and visited it a couple of times, I can say this: I definitely like your syntax: you write it just as it sounds))

So for them, it’s all simple: write it as you hear it, for example, malako.
And now for a riddle: who knows what "ЦМОК" means in Belarusian?
Write your answers under the spoiler))
