The Soviet school came to mind
This photograph, taken in Tel Aviv in August 1969, captured a military police officer checking the skirt length of a soldier of the Israel Defense Forces.
According to the regulations of that time, skirts were not allowed to be more than 3 centimeters above the knee.
The photograph is part of the Dan Hadani collection, donated to the National Library of Israel. Such checks were carried out to ensure the uniform met the standard
We also had such checks at our school. I don't remember the numbers. I remember how scared I was)
