    [моё] Creating a Castle in Blender: Process, Assets, and Final Result

    Since this whole story about people sharing their work in Blender began, why not show ours too, right? In the first part some assets from BlenderKit were used, and the rest is all my own. The castle is still a work in progress; I’ll show the final version later when I finish everything.

    Answering the questions:
    a. Images 1 and 3 are renders. The second is a screenshot.
    b. For God's sake, avoid proxies. Modern PCs (even laptops) are powerful enough to handle multi-million-polygon scenes. You don't need this hassle with proxy objects.
    If Blender supports it, it's better to use Xref (reference links to objects/scenes)
