Are there any subculture folks here? Lovers of goth culture?  Why did you consider yourselves subculture folks? What appeals to you about goth, and which kind exactly? What music do you like? For example, I like Depeche Mode / HIM / Falling in Reverse. 

Well, I do listen to those bands, but I’m not a goth or anything ) although once a friend told me something like that, like because I don’t get haircuts

By the way, yes, even long-haired people, even if they don’t consider themselves nonconformists, are somehow seen as not quite the same... although they already stand out from the crowd )

Nowadays even at school, boys aged 8–9 already wear long hair. 

It depends on who can actually be considered a nonconformist. I listen to this kind of music myself, too (including the bands you mentioned), and my appearance may also match it to some extent, but I don’t really consider myself part of any subculture or anything like that.

In my view, a nonconformist is a black sheep. Anyone can wear long hair, but that won’t make them a nonconformist on the inside, only on the outside, especially if they follow the style of certain subcultures
