[моё] Another sketchbook workshop
Хотя это больше блокнот. Схема та же. Раз всё равно такое делаю то фоточки процесса сделаны были.

From materials: cardboard from a box, paper from a notebook, printed images for the cover, PVA glue, strong threads, needle, clips, a piece of fabric.
Result.
One of the two covers. The printed image was glued onto the leftover box from a cake.
Paper from a notebook folded in half. Something old that had been lying around for a long time.
Now with holes.
Binding. At first I thought of making something fancy, shaped, but then decided to just stitch it. I'll still close it with the spine.
The spine itself attached to the fabric. I didn't cancel the width, misjudged it a bit. It's fine for this homemade version.
Fabric glued on. On the same sheet I glue the cover. I could have made a double layer of paper, but I'm too lazy to fuss with this notebook.
Everything clamped while drying.
One side
And the second cover. I didn't really select the images carefully.
A little decoration inside, to make writing the to‑do list and crossing out completed items a bit more fun.

You can also write wishes/requests to yourself on a piece of the spine, and even on the first page that you cover with a picture. They will definitely come true) And there will also be a little Easter egg, in case the item ever tears. Previously I used to hide little hearts inside each knitted toy)

Yes. Convenient for using sheets of paper that have found no use for themselves.

You can also write wishes on them. I just personally am not a fan of that. So I stick on little pictures instead. It’s a kind of decoration too. It could be thought out properly, but for now I’m too lazy to bother with that. Random stickers do the job.

I understand. I'm just not a fan of unnecessary labels. And the chances that such a thing will be found are small. Much less than with a note in a plush toy. At least based on my experience using paper products.

That's only if you cover the inscription with an egg‑like backing and make it slightly visible that it's openable. But that's my approach to the situation.
